How long does a Zendesk Implementation take?

Implementation times vary (we know that's not what you want to hear, but it's true) and it depends on how much complex your configuration will be and the documentation you'll require to get your team up to speed.

Set-Up Options

Basic Set-up

A basic setup includes only Email and Chat. We will include a custom field for tracking, and basic documentation (not branded) for using Zendesk. The timing depends on how clearly your current processes and workflows are documented.

  • Support + Messenger (Existing Processes): Plan for at least 30 hours.

  • Support + Messenger (No Existing Processes): Plan for at least 60 hours.

We also include access to our Zendesk New Users Training, and copies of our SOPs that can be moved to your own Knowledge Base. These documents are generic and not branded for you. If you'd like to have them branded we can do that for you. Just ask!

Advanced Set-up

You can always add more channels. The estimated time for implementing the additional channels will vary. We can help you with:

Add-ons

Customized SOPs + Onboarding Guide

Includes branded SOPs and specific workflows for supporting your customer on Zendesk. We will also include a guide that shows you how to share the documentation for learning.

Customized Training

Includes a branded Zendesk training, plus customized workflows based on your setup. You may opt to have this training limited to Zendesk use, or it can be developed into a full new hire training course. Plan for at least 30 additional hours.

The training an be hosted wherever you desire, thought we recommend Thinkific.
